Eduardo Conde
Eduardo "Eddie" Conde is a community organizer for Puerto Rico and Puerto Ricans based in Washington, DC. He is also an advocate for equity, social justice, criminal justice reform, the immigrant community, and the disenfranchised and underrepresented in his community in Fairfax County, Virginia. As a Commissioner in the Human Rights Commission, he oversees discrimination issues affecting residents of Virginia and ensures equal opportunity and equal access. In addition, he serves on several boards and committees that advocate for criminal justice reforms, Fair Housing, and environmental protection.
He is the Founder of the successful initiative Tertulias Por La Patria. This knowledge exchange forum hosts moderated discussions with expert panelists every month to increase awareness and education of Puerto Rican issues. In addition, he is one of the organizers of the Puerto Rican Diaspora Summit – Washington DC, which hosts over 250 participants with over five panels on various topics about Puerto Rico and Puerto Ricans.
He resides in Alexandria, Virginia, with the rest of the Conde Clan - his two boys, wife, mother, and his adorable dog.
Professional Experience
Eduardo “Eddie” Conde is a technology, data analytics, financial analysis, and process improvement expert. He has over a decade of experience in planning, directing, and executing complex projects with multiple stakeholders in high visibility engagements.
As a former consultant, he worked on several projects, including Identity and Access Management (I&AM); Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software in large (Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft and SAP) and medium (Microsoft Dynamics) businesses; Customer Relationship Management (CRM); and developed intelligent dashboards and reports for C Suite executives, among others.
Currently a Data Analytics Program Manager for the Department of Treasury, he has worked on several projects that improve the accuracy and standardization of collections data. In addition, he leads the Collections Fraud Management Program, where they work with all Collections programs to increase the preparedness and ability to respond to fraud. He has also worked for myRA as a Data Analyst, where he built a dashboard and delivered several reports on the status and future of the program.
